In October of this year, the founder of SiDLY, Edyta Kocyk, was a speaker at the 9th Mazovia Development Forum. As the initiator of Telecare activities in many local governments, she shared her experience in implementing a new model of senior care. Immediately, she pointed to the possibilities of telecare on a large scale in Mazovia.
In 2018, the SiDLY team has established operations in many local governments including several hundred users in its Telecare system, and a total of several thousand seniors in Europe. Every month, approximately 120,000 tests are performed on the SiDLY system. The Polish SiDLY technology developed four years ago has become an effective tool enabling the implementation of a senior policy in self-governments, which was noticed by the organizers of the Mazovia Forum. Edyta Kocyk, as the CEO and co-founder of SiDLY, was asked to share her implementation experience and challenges and to identify global trends that could affect the quality of life of the Mazovian population to the greatest extent. An important emphasis was placed on the possibility of self-government units implementing Telecare systems, including from Regional Operational Programs.
